About us:

Sweet Studs Gourmet Horse Treats are homemade the old fashioned way, because you want the best for your horses. I bake these treats with love and care, and using the same quality ingredients that I use when baking for my own family. I use the finest and freshest all natural ingredients to make a healthy treat, and ship them to you as soon as they cool from the oven. From oven to stable, these treats are a taste success and your horses will LOVE them. There will be no going back to processed store brand treats once you try ours. They come in a 1lb bag, packed with approximately 40 yummy treats. For only $20 a bag, all the money received goes to our Rescue farm expenses. Remember, I only bake your treats in my kitchen after I receive your order, to guarentee freshness. They contain all natural ingredients and no preservatives, therefore they will stay fresh for up to 2 months (or longer if stored in refrigerator. Whenever possible, I try to use locally grown produce, often from farmer's markets for over the top flavor in every treat! Treats are shipped Priority Mail or Personally delivered. These delicious treats come in 3 regular flavors and 1 seasonal flavor. Our list of ingredients is available upon request. It's a neigh you will enjoy to hear!

Sweet Studs on Hiatus again...

With our K getting married in just 25 days we have had to put Sweet Studs and Robles Horse Rescue on Hiatus.

She has been super busy planning her wedding and with her move almost 2 hours away from where RHR is it has been truly difficult for her to run the farm and her business in a new location. She has been busy trying to find locals in her area who are just as interested in horse treats as the ones in Central Florida. She doesnt want to lose her customers who have gained her trust in what she loves to do. But she recently also started a new night job so with very little sleep and few trips up to Orlando she promises us that she will continue to run both RHR and Sweet Studs at the beginning of the year.

Please be patient with her as she settles into her new life as a wife. Rest assured any orders placed will still be shipped out in a timely manner.

Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Sweet Studs and Robles Horse Rescue.

K's back in FL for now!

K has been super busy these past few days in FL since she returned on Saturday! But never fret she has enjoyed it and not to mention meeting with new clients as well as taking a look at our new rescue Sadie! We are so in love with her we cant wait to pick her up.

Well we have all agreed that maybe branching out to Missouri isn't on the top of our priority list at the moment. However, we will reach out to clients out in the Midwest for sure. They are incredibly nice people and are truly looking for what we have to offer. With that said it brings us to our next chapter here in FL.

We are working on laying out the plans for a very nice stable and barn to be built on our 10 acres of land out in the Plymouth/Sorrento area. K has been super busy looking for materials and people who will volunteer themselves to make all of this happen. Unfortunately it has been so hot here that being out there on the farm is on limited time. The last thing any of us want is for someone to get heat exhaustion! We plan on having a 60' ft round pen as well as better shade for the horses. This will all take time since we are a rescue organization with very limited funds. Most of our money we make with the horse treats does go into feed for our Rescues. And we know that many might say why but K has an amazing heart and endless love for them. She has always been compassionate about animals but mostly for horses. (We are planning on doing an entry just about her here shortly on the blog). She has big plans for the farm so stay tuned for everything to come at Robles Horse Rescue.

That's all for now

P.S. If you have any building materials that you might not need anymore and are willing to donate to us please give us a call at 407-865-0043.

Thanks again for your support!

Out Searching...

Sweet Studs has been super busy these past few weeks searching for new stables and feed stores in the Branson, MO area. Fortunately I am in the right place for Sweet Studs new endeavor. We are so excited and ready to kick off the Missouri branch! In our efforts to kick off we have looked for stables, farms, kitchens, supplies, feed and most importantly HORSES!!

All of us think we bit off more then we can chew however we are very determined to get it all up and going as soon as possible so that everyone here can happily give their horses the very same satisfaction that our beloved horse clients in FL are enjoying right now.

With the same ingredients used in FL and the same love and dedication we are in the beginning processes of baking our horse treats. Of course we had to find more helping hands here to be able to get this branch up and going. So I have enlisted the help from my sister's family who lives here in the area and a few friends I have made here locally in the few weeks I have been here. So we are off to a good start here and cant wait to get it fully up and running.

Wish us luck!!

Sweet Studs expands to Missouri..

It took a lot for me to make this decision but I have made a decision to begin a new chapter of my small business in the state of Missouri.

We will be starting to look for new places to sell our treats at. I dont know if this will be a permanent situation but we are testing out the water and seeing if this will work out. For now this is where Sweet Studs will be working out of so all orders might ship out from Missouri. Local small orders from the state of FL will ship out from there still. If you have any questions regarding this please do not hesitate to email us or give us a call.

If local to Missouri and interested in our treats feel free to email us for complimentary samples to be mailed out to you. We look forward to hearing from you.

Amazing Things in 2009!

Well Sweet Studs took a small hiatus due to personal reasons. However, we are back in full force and with HUGE PLANS for our small business!

We are pleased to announce that we have joined an amazing group of people who rescue horses! As we all know because of the economy things have been especially hard for those of us who own horses due to the raise in prices in many of the supplies and feed needed for them. You also must know that the amazing group of people are my family (and I am including my neighbors in this as well since they help me train them)! My dad and I sat down and decided what would be best for us as a group and well for the horses who were being shoved off to overcrowded animal shelters or simply neglected. Needless to say we agreed to let our 10 acres of land in the Plymouth/Sorrento area be our holding/training/housing/transition station for these amazing and talented horses.

On Dec 26th, 2008 I was pleased to give my father's beloved Shameless aka Simbe some extra company on our "Horse Rescue Farm". Wes and Princess were hauled over that very same day by Tim Roach (Shameless' first farrier ever). They quickly adapted to their surroundings and though at first it was a major change for them. They quickly showed me that they were willing to help make things better for me and them as well. With lots of love and tender care they have become 2 amazing horses. I was told when I rescued them that Wes had been under saddle but it had been a while. And that Princess had never been under saddle and most importantly that she did not like to be on a lead nor be near Wes let alone other horses. Needless to say she proudly has proved her previous owners wrong! Every weekend for the past 6+ weekends we have worked with all three of them. With a 2-1 knock down record Princess has proven her ability to accept change, a saddle and her trainer Anthony.

Wes, my old fella he just keeps to himself. And when it comes to him being under saddle he proudly stands there and lets you do whatever you have to do and only occassionaly lets you know that he still somewhat has a mind of his own. Lucky for Anthony and myself we have had a few helpers to help train the horses. Jeremy, a good friend of The Fomby's (Anthony and Esther aka The trainer and his wonderful wife) has been Wes' rider and so far things have progressed with him very well. Taking a brief moment to send a big Congrats to Jeremy and his Wife Ashley on the birth of their baby! God Bless your family.

Shameless, well what can I say about him. He has become Anthony's Cadillac and dont tell Princess this but he is Anthony's favorite to ride. He says he rides smooth once he lets you on. It's a bit more difficult to get on Shameless since he once belonged to a little girl. However, she outgrew the 'I want a horse' phase fairly quickly once she realized how much work a horse can be. It's not easy when Shameless has been the sole attention of all the farm visitors for so long. He is our nosey one always has to be in everyones business. Not to mention he is extremely spoiled (I am working on not spoiliing them so much anymore). He was Wes' and Princess' tour guide of the farm upon arrival. And has become very possessive (in a good way) of his new buddies. For the first time I saw him and Wes trot off to find Princess while she was being trained the other day and that was a proud moment for me.

Although we know this will not be the easiest job in the world. We know that it will be a long process and we are determined to make these horses even more amazing than they already are. I will post some videos I have of them being trained as soon as I load them. Thank you to everyone who has worked with me and the horses it truly has been a blessing.
